Texas Tulips

near Dallas and San Antonio, Texas

Get outdoors and be sure to bring your camera for multicolored fields of tulips in bloom at Texas Tulips. The tulips bloom end of February through early March at two locations near Dallas and San Antonio.

The owners, Pieter and Petra Koeman are originally from the Netherlands, and found the rich soil and sunshine helps the tulips flourish in Texas.   Baskets are provided and you are shown how to properly pick a tulip for $2.50 per stem. After you pick your own tulips, they are wrapped in paper with moist gel for the ride home.
