Everything at the Frisco Science Discovery Center is hands-on, as you build incredible towers, use air shoot baskets, make giant bubbles, build and race cars, and be amazed at science and technology. Get inspired as live science shows are presented throughout the day with STEM activities. Keep those brains energetic and check out their workshops, robotics, electricity projects and building camps.

At the Air Pressure Zone, catapult your inventions into the air and race on a track. Get inspired with robots by flying a drone simulator, discover nano-science, make your own land topography using a sand table, and learn with a video-projected game. Discover building challenges with oversized architectural blocks, keva planks, ThinkerLinker gears, and airplane or car assembly and racing.

Try out Bernoulli’s principle to see how an air stream can get a ball in a basket. Build your own ball roller coaster using magnetic tubes and investigate scientific principles using cool wooden machines. At the bubble tables, create jumbo bubbles and try out different bubble frames to understand surface tension. Learn about the body to find the body’s maze of complex systems and functions, and watch out when the giant nose sneezes!

The WOW stage has live science shows presented throughout the day to get kids excited about STEM and to use their imaginations working on the limitless possibilities of science and engineering.   Check out their events calendar and workshops for different ages.

Special needs: Everything is hands-on, lots of building opportunities, giant bubbles are fun for kids. No stairs. Some of the exhibits would need parent assistance to get supplies to begin the activity.
