JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa
San Antonio, Texas
When you need to recharge your family, an escape to the Texas Hill Country welcomes you with some of the most beautiful land on earth. Rolling hills, sprawling oak trees against white limestone rock, nature trails with wildlife and spring fed rivers lead to an abundance of family activities. The JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa is over 600 acres with nature trails to explore, family-friendly golf course, a 9 acre water park with a lazy river and towering water slides, children’s outdoor play area with a sand beach, arcade and table tennis, and stargazing and making smores under the big Texas night sky. This kid-friendly resort offers luxury accommodations for the entire family to relax and play.
The River Bluff Experience Water Park
The River Bluff Experience water park has an 1,200 ft lazy river that is so relaxing you will forget how many laps you have made around the 9 acre park. The Pedernales River is a higher volume water ride that will remind you of tubing down the local spring-fed rivers.
Tube slides and body slides for kids 48” or taller offer amazing hill country views and exciting twists and turns. The Kids Pool has zero-depth entry and three slides for the little ones. Book a cabana and lay under the Texas sun while the kids dig sand at the beach making sandcastles. The pool and slides are heated to 80 degrees for year-round splashing fun, and will be closed if outdoor temperatures are below 55 degrees.
Family-friendly golf course
Get an early tee time and enjoy a golf game with the kids on this award-winning top-rated course. The Canyons Course has panoramic views of the nearby Cibolo Canyons and the Oaks Course is lined with a forest of old oak trees. Kids can play golf with adults, so make this a fun family experience on the beautiful courses.
The Golf Shop has golf club rentals and private lessons by a great instructor. A golf cart is required on both of the courses, and the driver must be at least 18 years old.
