Want to experience the natural beauty and rugged terrain of Palo Duro Canyon without hiking? Palo Duro Creek Ranch is a working cattle ranch that borders Palo Duro Canyon State Park and offers kid-friendly Jeep tours and horseback rides.
Jeep tour packages are 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours to see seasonal waterfalls and cliffs that can’t otherwise be seen from within the neighboring state park. Experience stunning landscapes and view local wildlife, and don’t miss the hoodoo rock garden of geologic wonder. Jeep tours are for all ages, and kids under 4 are free.
Discounts are available for groups, military or law enforcement and 65 years or older.
Experience the rugged beauty of the canyon while horseback riding along on the rim of the Palo Duro Canyon, for adults and kids ages 8 and up. For the younger cowboys and cowgirls less than 8 years old, guided pony rides near the main office will ensure they have a great horseback experience.
