Texas Distance Challenge for Families
Texas Distance Challenge is a virtual run/walk or bike across Texas logging miles from July 1, 2020 – April 30, 2021. Families can join as a team to earn cumulative miles and watch a virtual pin move across a Texas map showing the team’s progress.

Austin residents and visitors flock to see the largest urban bat population fly from under Congress Avenue Bridge. Over 1.5 million Mexican Free-Tailed Bats have made the bridge their home, and leave every evening for dinner in a spectacular show from mid-March through August.
